Embossing Folders

I saw someone online make these tags for their embossing folders and of course had to give it a go.
Here are all of my tags/embossing folders. I love having them on this ring. I keep it hanging close by so I can look through it when I am making my cards.
I write the name of the embossing folder on the tag before embossing the tag.
I love that Provo Craft is now printing the name of the embossing folders on them. My folders that don't have the pre-printed name on them have a label from my label maker. Of course all of my embossing folders are in alphabetical order (as are all of my sample tags).
I created my tags using my Gypsy and Plantin SchoolBook. As you can see, I can fit 5 tags on a 8.5" x 11" piece of paper by cutting my tags at 4.8". I keep a ring of blank tags ready at all times (because I am constantly picking up new folders).

I hope you give this a try.

Etched Glass Blocks

It has been a very busy around here. Here are a few glass blocks I made for Christmas presents this year. I made a total of 15 of these blocks. Sorry, I didn't take pictures of them all, but here a few. I designed all of my images on the Gypsy, cut them on vinyl and applied etching cream.

Treat Box - She's a Sassy Lady

Many thanks to Sheila at She's a Sassy Lady for her Gypsy Made Simple tutorial on her blog on how to create this treat box. I've had my Gypsy since May and am loving it, though I am no where near as talented as many of the gals/guys on the Circut Message Board. Thanks so much to all of you for sharing your creations and never hesitating in sharing your "how to" knowledge.

Anyway on to my version of the treat box. Thanks again Sheila at She's a Sassy Lady for your new series!

If you would like to make this super easy box, just go see Sheila at She's a Sassy Lady and she will walk you through!

I loved making these crayons - they were so much fun!

Baby Girl Card

I saw this card being made last weekend on our PBS station on a show called Scrapbook Memories. They were using the Sizzix diecutting machine.

I decided that I could recreate this card using my Cricut Expression and my Gypsy. Below is my "version" of this card.

The card is from New Arrival.

The rattle was created by welding several different things together. I used Sugar & Spice cartridge to get a scalloped circle and the bow. The stem of the rattle is an "L" from Plantin SchoolBook. The ball on the end of the stem and the circle in the middle of the rattle is from from Accent Essentials.
