My Pink Stamper = inspiration

I love making cards .... and the funny thing about that is I do not have a "stash" of cards. So when I need a birthday card, etc. I usually have to quickly make one. Sometimes I try too hard to come up with an original idea .... so I resort to scraplifting from different blogs. My first stop last weekend was to My Pink Stamper. This is also where I started when I first started card making.

I started by going through all of her videos to get some "inspiration". Boy, did I ever get some inspiration ... I made 16 different cards in 2 days (I made 2, 4, or 6 of each card depending on what it was and what supplies I had on hand).

I will be showcasing the cards I made over the next couple of days.

Valentine's Day Card - 3

This is the card I made for card club at my LSS.

Recipe:
A2 card
"HUGS" heart cut at 1.2" on the Gypsy from the Simply Charmed cartridge.
Bug & all parts (except its heart) cut at 3" from the Simply Charmed cartridge.
Tag was created using Tags, Bags, Boxes & More and George. I used a tag from TBBM on the Gypsy at 2.19" x 1.25". When I made the tag this size the slits for the ribbon to go through were way too long, and it caused the tag to slide up and down too much. I created my own "slits" with rectangles from George. The slits were created at 0.05" x 0.5".

I have been so busy helping my good friend with a baby shower for her son and his girlfriend. It was on Sunday, so I finally will have time to work on my thanksgiving cards and my sister-in-laws birthday presents.

So, this will be a pretty big post with everything that I made for it.

GIFT BAGS

Recipe:
The images on the gift bags were cut from Car Decals. Sorry, I can't seem to find the piece of paper where I wrote down what sizes I cut these out at. Hopefully I will come across it when I clean up the craft room.

WIPE CASE

Recipe:
Circles cut from George at various sizes from .25" to 1.5"
Name cut at 1.75" from Nursery Rhymes

I also made a little name banner to put across the front of the gift table, but I didn't get a picture of it. I will have to check to see if anyone else did. I will post it later if I can find one.

Whew .... time to clean up the craft room so I can start on my next projects!
